Chrondroitin Sulphate D Oligosaccharides Highly purified CS-D Oligosaccharides from dp4 to dp20
Highly purified CS-D Oligosaccharides from dp4 (tetrasaccharide) to dp20. Prepared by controlled, partial depolymerisation of Chondroitin Siulphate D followed by high resolution separation by preparative gel filtration.
The CS-D Polymer used for preparation of the oligosaccharides contained 18% of the disulphated CSD disaccharide unit GlcA,2S – GalNAc,6S
General formula of the oligosaccharides:
∆UA – (GalNAc,6S>4S – GlcA +/- 2S) n1-9 - GalNAc,6S
Uronic acid (∆UA) at the non-reducing ends of the oligosaccharides has a C4-C5 double bond as a result of endolytic scission.
